Due to popular demand, a brand new tour has been announced for Mrs Brown's Boys. 'Mrs Brown Rides Again', written by and starring Brendan O'Carroll, is heading to the Capital FM Arena Nottingham in June.

'Mrs Brown Rides Again' follows the phenomenal success of Sunday's BAFTAs with a nomination in the Serial Comedy category for TV series Mrs Brown's Boys on BBC One. The show hits our city on Tuesday 19, Wednesday 20, Thursday 21, Friday 22 and Saturday 23 June 2012.

The Mrs Brown Trilogy of plays (there are five) stars Brendan O'Carroll as Mrs Agnes Brown. The new show follows on the heels of the current tour, 'Good Mourning Mrs Brown' and sees Agnes Brown and her dysfunctional family romp their way through what seems to be the mammy's last days at home.

After hearing a plot by her children to have her put into a home, Agnes decides to prove them wrong by displaying a new lease of life. However, this is not going to be as easy as it seems for along the way she must deal with a psychiatrist trying to put her in her place...or maybe away, her son's gay partner who wants to give birth, her neighbour's wait for a heart bypass and worst of all, a family secret that everyone seems to know except her.

Please note that the performance contains adult humour.
